Progressive Web App (PWA)

Install and use Infa as a native app on desktop and mobile devices

Infa is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA), allowing you to install it directly on your devices—desktop computers, smartphones, and tablets—just like a native application. No need to visit a website or use an app store; simply install it from your browser.

Features

  • When you launch the installed app, it opens in its own window without any browser interface (no address bar, navigation buttons, or tabs). This gives it a true native app feel.

  • The app features a branded splash screen while loading and uses your custom app icon on your home screen or dock, making it instantly recognizable.

  • After you log in, your session is remembered, so you can quickly access your dashboard and projects each time you launch the app.

  • The app automatically updates in the background, so you always have the latest version with the newest features and improvements without manual intervention.

  • Your Infa account and data sync automatically across all devices where you're logged in. Install on your desktop, phone, and tablet—your work is always current everywhere.

  • Infa uses a service worker that enables the installation prompt on your browser. The service worker doesn't cache content offline (Infa requires an active internet connection), but it does allow seamless PWA installation and app management on all platforms.

Troubleshooting

    • Make sure you're using a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox)
    • Ensure the page is fully loaded completely (including the service worker registration)
    • On Android: Interact with the app for at least 30 seconds before the banner appears
    • Try clearing your browser cache and visiting the site again
    • If one browser doesn't work, try a different browser
    • The service worker must be active for the install prompt to appear. Try reloading the page or waiting a few seconds after initial load.
    • Wait a few moments for the icon to download and cache
    • Uninstall and reinstall the app to refresh the icon
    • This is typically a browser or operating system caching issue, not an app issue
  • Desktop (Chrome/Edge): Right-click the Infa icon in your apps menu and select "Uninstall"

Desktop (Safari): Open Finder, go to Applications, right-click Infa, and select "Move to Trash"

Android: Long-press the Infa icon on your home screen and select "Remove" or "Uninstall"

iOS: Long-press the Infa icon on your home screen and select "Remove App", then confirm "Remove from Home Screen"

  • No. Once installed, Infa runs as a standalone app. You can close your browser and the app will continue to work. However, Infa requires an active internet connection to function.

  • Yes. Your Infa account and data automatically sync across all devices where you're logged in, whether you're using the PWA or the browser version.

  • Infa requires an active internet connection to function. The PWA doesn't include offline support, so you'll need to be connected to use the app.
