A local CLI server that bridges your markdown repos, Claude Code sessions, and the Infa cloud.
Infa CLI (infa) is a local Node.js tool that runs alongside your repositories. It serves your .md and .mdx files to the Infa web UI, manages Claude Code sessions, keeps local files in sync with cloud Papers, and serves Infa Capture — the in-page element selector — into your preview, all from a single command.

How it fits in your workflow
Your repos (.md / .mdx)
│
infa preview ← local server on :7100
│
infa.ai / b/{boardId} ← web UI reads files + controls sessions
(infa.ai/local when you have no account or board)
│
Supabase ← run records, queued run triggers, realtime
│
Claude Code ← spawned as a child process per repo
When a board is connected and you are authenticated, the CLI also subscribes to Supabase Realtime. Any run queued from the Infa web UI is automatically picked up and executed locally.

Quick start

Without an account
# Run from your docs/repo folder — no install, no sign-in
npx infa preview
The browser opens a local board at infa.ai/local with your repo's Markdown and MDX docs. Files are read and edited on your machine; nothing is uploaded. When you want the cloud, use Save to Infa in the local board's toolbar to sign up (free) and connect a free cloud board. See No account needed.

# 3. Pick a board, or create one for this repo
infa board
# 4. Start the server (run from your docs/repo folder)
